Let’s jump into spring.
Instead of writing something new, I am committed to revisions. I want to take old pieces and reinvent them. Maybe try a new perspective, or point of view. Maybe start at the end and work myself backward. At first it feels like putting on your shoes on the wrong foot.
Most writers I know have a style, but writing outside the box can help you see things in a new way. So mix up the toy box and find a gem. Polish it. Wear it proudly.
I am posting this to keep myself accountable. I am trying to do this.
As scribes, we use writing prompts. I think the rewriting, or rather reimagining, is more rewarding.
